In Memoriam: Academician Dan P. Rădulescu (20.01.1928–11.11.2025)

Abstract

Academician Dan P. Rădulescu – the geologist, the professor, the mentor; Honorary President of the Section of Geonomic Sciences of the Romanian Academy and President of the National Committee of Geologists of Romania – passed away on 11 November 2025, to the profound sorrow of his family and of the entire geological community. A leading personality of Romanian Geology, a professor by vocation and a man of exceptional moral integrity, Academician Dan P. Rădulescu devot ed his entire life to scientific knowledge and to the education of generations of geologists.
