In Memoriam – Jana Ion (1934-2023)

Abstract

Dr. Jana Ion (Săndulescu) was born on the 24th of January 1934 in Bucharest. After graduation of the high-school she became student of the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Geology, obtaining her Diploma in Geology in 1965. She retired from the Geological Institute of Romania, where she worked over 40 years.
